San Lorenzo Faces New Legal Challenges Over Debt

San Lorenzo club is facing a new legal challenge, this time due to a debt of 175,000 dollars presented by Alan Ignacio Poch, agent of the brothers Bruno and Mauro Pittón. The debt arises from a non-payment in the transfer of the players to the team in 2019. Although the bankruptcy petition has been filed, the judicial process is still at first instance and a final judgment has not yet been reached.

The Pittón brothers had different trajectories at San Lorenzo. Mauro, coming from Unión de Santa Fe, had limited participation and left for Vélez in 2020 after playing only eight matches. On the other hand, Bruno had a longer and more successful stint at the club, playing 57 matches and scoring nine goals in two years.

Despite the seriousness of the claim and the ongoing judicial conflict, San Lorenzo still has the opportunity to resolve the debt or reach an agreement before the bankruptcy petition materializes. In the meantime, the club seeks to focus on its current sporting situation under the direction of Miguel Ángel Russo, setting aside institutional problems to maintain its stability in the sporting sphere.
